Hot, dry weather forecast

The Met Office on Saturday forecast mainly hot and dry weather for most of the country in the next 24 hours. It said that rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds was, however, expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Lahore, Gujranwala and Faisalabad divisions, besides Islamabad, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir over the period. "Weak seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. A westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country," it said, adding the weather conditions were expected to remain unchanged in the next 48 hours.
