Punjab police have sold police mobiles to general public in open auction without changing the name plates, colours and logos of the vehicles, which might be used in any terrorism incident.
Some 38 police mobile were auctioned in Lahore without changing their number plates, colour and logos. The auctioned vehicles are now on sale at a show room in Bahawalpur even without changing the colour, number plates and logos.
This apparent administrative negligence might lead to any major terror incident, as terrorist could use these mobile for carrying out attacks.
Before the auction, the police high ups must have changed the police number plates, colour and logos of the vehicles. People have expressed concerns that such negligence on part of the Punjab government can lead to any terror incident.
