Mushaal Hussein Malik on Monday called on Senator Rehman Malik Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Interior and Narcotics Control at his residence in Islamabad. Mushaal was accompanied by her three years daughter Raziya Sultana and her mother, a press release issued here said. The gross human rights violations taking place in Indian held Kashmir and about the arrest of Yasin Malik by Indian Forces were came under discussion during the meeting.
Senator Rehman Malik said that "Yasin Malik and his family are fighting peacefully for their very basic right of "self-determination" as per the United Nations Security Council Resolution rather committing any crime yet he is kept in illegal custody." Addressing a joint press conference, they strongly condemned the Indian forces for their brutalities against innocent Kashmiris and urged the United Nation to stop India from further brutalities in occupied Kashmir.
The family of Mohammad Yasin Malik is suffering since last two years as he is in the unlawful detention of Indian forces and his family is denied the right to meet him in jail, said Rehman Malik. He said that he is amazed that how the United Nations is tight-lipped on the killing of innocent Kashmiris by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir. Mushaal thanked senator for his and his party support and applauded him for his bold and brave stance on the issue of Kashmir and said that she has found him always speaking for the rights of Kashmiri people. He said every Pakistani and especially the workers of PPP stand by the people of Kashmir in their fight against Indian brutalities and illegal confinement of their soil.
