The Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department has constituted management and operational committees for arranging 'black buck and chinkara safari hunting' in Cholistan during the month of October-November this year. The adventurers and hunters can participate in the 'black buck and chinkara safari hunting programme 2016' in Lal Suhanra, District Bahawalpur. The last date for the hunters to apply for participation in the programme is October 14.
The last time this trophy was held in 2008 and now it is being held after a gap of eight years. About the terms and conditions, an official of the Punjab Wildlife and Parks Department informed that hunting would be allowed from dawn to dusk and the hunters should be in possession of a valid 2016 arms and shooting licenses. He said interested hunters may send their applications with CNIC and bank draft of Rs 200,000 for Blackbuck and Rs 75,000 for chinkara. Deputy Director Wildlife Publicity & Research Aamir Masaud has been appointed convenor of the management committee while Assistant Director Wildlife Abdul Shakoor Manj will be the convenor of operational committee.
