Business community has congratulated Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar on being declared "Finance minister of the year 2016 for South Asia" by Emerging Markets, a global organisation. Patron-in-Chief of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) SM Muneer, President Masood Naqi, Patron-in-Chief of SITE Superhighway Association of Industry (SSIA) Mehtab uddin Chawla, President Jamshed Ahmed Chandiwala, Senior Vice President Sultan Salahuddin Chishti and Vice President Khawaja Khurrum have congratulated Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for being declared "Finance Minister of the year 2016 for South Asia". According to statements issued by KATI and SSIA the award is recognition of Pakistan's economic performance and abilities of Dar.
