Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has appreciated the performance of the Provincial Cabinet Committee on Law and Order, Police, administration and law-enforcement agencies regarding foolproof security arrangements in the province for the protection of life and property of people on Youm-e-Ashur.
He lauded the efficiency of the Provincial Cabinet Committee on Law and Order, Police, administration and law-enforcement agencies and said that due to grace of Allah and efforts of institutions concerned, Youm-e-Ashur remained peaceful. He said elected representatives and administration performed their duties towards protection of life and property of people in an efficient manner. The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the security measures taken for ensuring peace on Youm-e-Ashur.
He said members of Provincial Cabinet Committee and their entire team made excellent security arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram, especially Youm-e-Ashur due to which law and order situation remained under control. He said all members of the cabinet committee discharged their national responsibility regarding maintenance of law and order in a commendable manner. He also appreciated mutual co-ordination between provincial institutions and departments as well as agencies concerned. He said institutions concerned, police and administration worked round-the-clock and in a co-ordinated manner for ensuring law and order. He said that peace committees and elected representatives also played an active role for maintaining an atmosphere of brotherhood on Youm-e-Ashur.
