At least four people were killed and a woman was injured critically when a tractor trolley crushed a motorcycle on Pensira Road on Thursday. According to police five people were riding the motorcycle. Father, son, daughter and her father-in-law were killed while wife was critically injured. The driver of the tractor trolley managed to escape. Police is looking for him.
Meanwhile, four members of a family were killed in an accident in Gojra town of Toba Tek Singh district on Thursday. According to rescue sources, a married couple and their two children lost their lives when their motorcycle crashed into a tractor trolley on the highway. Another person was also injured in the accident.
The bodies and the injured were shifted to Allied Hospital. The family was travelling towards Gojra when the road accident took place. Road accidents, primarily caused by poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving, leave thousands dead and injured every year in Pakistan.
