US Consul General Grace Shelton visited Isra University, Hyderabad on Tuesday. The visit was observed with reference to the ongoing partnership of Isra University, Hyderabad with the Ball State University, USA. The project will promote entrepreneurship and career services across the country, where Isra University is given the leadership role in partnering with ten other universities of Pakistan (KP, Balochistan and Sindh).
She was accompanied by A J Jagelski, Cultural Attache, and other delegates from the US Consulate. All the delegates were welcomed by the Chancellor, Professor Dr Asadullah Kazi, Vice Chancellor, Dr Ghulamqadir Kazi, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Hameedullah Kazi and Dr Qamaurddin Mahar.
While addressing the students Shelton highlighted the opportunities available for young students and for their future growth. She emphasised upon the need to develop further international linkages for knowledge sharing and cross cultural interaction and exposure. University's Chancellor Professor Dr Asadullah Kazi and Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Ghulamqadir Kazi presented the guests and dignitaries with cultural souvenirs and shields.
