SSUET observes 199th birth anniversary of Sir Syed

The rich tributes were paid to the great visionary and reformer of subcontinent Sir Syed Ahmed Khan at his 199th birth anniversary, observed under the aegis of Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys' Association (AMUOBA) and Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology at the campus.
Addressing the seminar, Jawaid Anwar, President AMUOBA and Chancellor, Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) said that Sir Syed Ahmed Khan devoted his entire life for emancipation of Muslims of South Asia and Islamic renaissance. He was a great and multidimensional person.
Chancellor Jawaid Anwar pointed out that Sir Syed University signed three MoU with Malaga University Spain, Karachi University and International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences for the exchange of information and research based knowledge. Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor SSUET, Professor Dr Syed Jawaid H. Rizvi said Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was the great visionary who prepared ground for the formation of Pakistan. Vice Chancellor Hamdard University Professor Dr Abdul Hannan said Sir Syed found a new way in the time of crisis to serve Muslim nation and religion with modern strategy.-PR
