The profit after tax of Attock Cement Pakistan Limited (ACPL) has increased to Rs 690.849 million in the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 481.387 million earned in the corresponding period in 2015. The board of directors of the company, in its meeting held on Wednesday at Rawalpindi declared that the company's earning per share surged to Rs 6.03 in the period under review against Rs 4.20 in the same period last year.
According to the financial results, net sales of the company increased to Rs 3.358 billion in this quarter against Rs 2.865 billion in the same quarter in previous year while cost of goods sold inched up to Rs 1.963 billion against Rs 1.872 billion. The company's profit before taxation increased to Rs 993.849 million in this quarter against Rs 731.387 million in the same quarter last year.
