The Anti-Corruption Compliant Management System (ACCMS) has been introduced in offices of Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab to ensure accurate and reliable data and make the whole process of complaint handling ie, registration of complaint, enquiry, registration of FIR, investigation and submission of challan to the anti-corruption courts, more transparent and foolproof.
Director General Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab, Brigadier Muzaffar Ali Ranjha (Retd), said this while chairing a meeting of Regional Directors and Information Technology Officers of ACE, here on Thursday. This system would also help to overcome the impression of not taking prompt action on the complaints received in offices of ACE as all the complaints would be processed through ACCMS and no complaint would be left unregistered.
Muzaffar briefed the participants that all provincial departments would be given access to the system so that the authorities may get information about the status and nature of complaints and cases of the officers and officials of their departments themselves. No Enquiry Certificate (NEC), issued by Anti-Corruption Establishment, is mandatory for the officers at the time of promotion or retirement and process of issuance of NEC has been made more easy and simple through introduction of ACCMS.
