Delay in completion of mega development project of Sheikupura road has badly affected the businesses along this main road. The CM Punjab should take immediate notice of this unnecessary delay which has escalated its estimated cost in addition to adding miseries to residents of this area, said Mian Zahid Aslam former President FCCI.
in a statement issue here on Thursday, he said that this important road is in a shambles from Nishatabad overhead bridge up to Millat Chowk. "The under construction drain is causing problem to the residents and those who regularly use this road", he said and added that the dust has engulfed this area and the people are suffering from chronic pulmonary diseases. He said the divisional commissioner Momin Agha had earlier assured that this project would be completed immediately after 14th August but still it is uncompleted.
