Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House, Islamabad earned an amount of Rs 47.7591 million during last three financial years of 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 while expenditure remained at Rs 3.865 million during the same period. During the first financial year of 2013-14 of the PTI led provincial government 6927 persons were allotted rooms in KP House, Islamabad. Out of these guests 5971 were government employees, elected public representatives, members of parliament or on their reference.
Furthermore, 948 persons including members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and others like former Governor, chief minister, Inspector General of Police (IGP) and Chief Secretaries were allotted free rooms on the basis of their privilege.
Income from KP House Islamabad during the year 2013-14 remained at Rs 15.165 million while expenditure remained at Rs 1.056 million. Similarly, during the financial year 2014-15 a total of 6190 guests were allotted rooms out of which 4911 were either government employees, or on the reference of the members of parliament while 1279 were allotted rooms on the basis of their privilege.
Furthermore, a total of 6602 persons were allotted rooms during the financial year 2015-16, out of which 5499 paid the rent while 1103 were allowed free stay. During the year the KP House Islamabad earned a profit of Rs 17.434 million while expenditure of the facility remained at Rs 1.673 million.
