LTBA to help FBR achieve targets

President Lahore Tax Bar Association Farhan Shehzad has assured the Federal Board of Revenue of cooperation in achieving the revenue targets. This assurance was extended to Member Inland Revenue Operations Dr Muhammad Irshad in a meeting on Tuesday at the Tax House, Lahore. A large number of tax lawyers and chartered accountants attended the meeting.
Dr Muhammad Irshad told the participants that tax facilitation centres have been set up in different markets for the traders. He further assured that officers and officials of the department will help the taxpayers in filing the income tax returns by hand and online. Those who attended the meeting included Chief Commissioner Large Taxpayer Unit, Lahore, Chaudhry Safdar Hussain, Chief Commissioner Corporate Regional Tax Office, Lahore, Tasneem Rehman and Chief Commissioner RTO-II, Lahore, Khawaja Adnan Zaheer.
