World community on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on police training center in Quetta and reiterated to work closely with Pakistan against the menace of terrorism. According to message issued by the Press and Information Office of the Russian President Vladimir Putin and received through Pakistan's Ambassador in Moscow Qazi Khalilullah, the Russian President condoled with victim families of the Quetta terrorist attack.
In a message of condolences, addressed to the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan over the terrorist attack on Police Training College in Quetta, the Russian President expressed his confidence that the plotters and executors of the barbaric crime will be brought to justice, and confirmed Russia's readiness to further expand counter-terrorism cooperation with Pakistani partners.
"Vladimir Putin offered his condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the wake of the tragic terrorist attack on a Police College in Quetta", read the message, adds, "Vladimir Putin expressed sincere sympathy to the families and loved ones of those killed in the attack and wished speedy recovery to those injured."
United States also condemned the attack and expressed condolences to the victim families. "The United States condemns the terrorist attack on the police training center in Quetta. We extend our condolences to the victims and their families, including the police cadets who are embarking on careers of public service", said John Kirby, Assistant Secretary and Department Spokesperson, Bureau of Public Affairs.
"We stand with the people of Pakistan and Government of Pakistan at this difficult hour, and we will continue to work with our partners in Pakistan and across the region to combat the threat of terrorism", Kirby added. The European Union also condemned the attack and stated that it will continue to work closely together with Pakistan to fight the global threat of terrorism.
In a statement by the High Representative/Vice-President Federica Mogherini, stated the people of Pakistan are once again in our thoughts following last night's deadly attack on a police training centre in Quetta, which has killed at least 60 people and injured many more. "This attack underlines the continuing threat posed by terrorism and the need for strong international cooperation in the fight against it, in Pakistan, the wider region and beyond".
As the European Union, she said we will continue to work closely together with Pakistan to fight the global threat of terrorism. "When I met earlier this month with Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz, I reiterated this commitment; a commitment which remains steadfast today", she said, expressing condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured.
