A free consultancy and screening medical camp is being held at Karachi Press Club (KPC) today, (October 27) to enhance awareness about stroke, its causes, risk factors and preventive measures. Senior neurologists and physicians would provide free consultancy services to working journalists and their family members at the free medical camp, which is being held in connection with World Stroke Day, being observed all over the world on October 29, 2016.
The medical consultancy camp is being organized by the Health Committee of KPC in collaboration with Neurology Awareness and Research Foundation (NARF) and during the camp, screening for the risk factors leading to stroke would be carried out on first come first basis.
