Pakistan's High Commissioner Rafiuzzaman Siddiqui presented his credentials to President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid at the Bangabhaban on Wednesday. Matters of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting that ensued after the presentation of the credentials, a message received here said.
The president warmly welcomed the high commissioner and assured him full cooperation in the successful discharge of his duties. The high commissioner conveyed the desire of the government of Pakistan to further strengthen bilateral relations and to bolster the political, economic, cultural and defence bonds that exist between the two brotherly countries.
