Engineer Muhammad Saeed Sheikh President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) has condemned the dastardly attack on Quetta Police Training Center in which more than 61 innocent Jawans were reportedly martyred. In a statement issue here today, he said that Pakistan is passing through a critical stage as Pak Army is about to beat out terrorists.
He said that the terrorists had not only damaged our economy but have also created a sense of insecurity among masses in addition to tarnishing our image in the international community. He said that Pakistan army is busy in "Zarb-e-Azb" which has already broken the network of all terrorist organizations and now steps were underway to round up their sympathizers, supporters, facilitators and financers. "It was due to the sacrifices of our Jawans that terrorists were forced to take refuge in the neighbouring countries". He said that as the Pak Army has already flushed out all terrorists from Pak soil and it was in this context that now they have been forced to carry out their nefarious and nasty operations from across the border.
He said that although Pakistan army has almost crushed terrorists but few foreign based terrorist are now creating unrest in Pakistan with ulterior motives to sabotage our fast growing economy. "Their target is actually CPEC and Gwadar port" he said and added that Pakistan government must expedite work on these projects for their early completion.
Senior Vice President Rana Sikandar-e-Azam said that enemies of peace would be met with iron hand as nation is on one page on this issue of terrorism. Vice President Engineer Ahmed Hassan also expressed deep concern over the massive loss of human lives in war against terror. He also condoled with the bereaved families and said that government must take full responsibility of families of the martyred Jawans.
