Ali Asghar Jamali has become Chief Executive (CE) of Indus Motor Company Limited. He would assume charge from January 1, 2017. Anam Fatima Khan, Company Secretary IMC, has intimated Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) that the Board of Directors of IMC met on Thursday and Parvez Ghias indicated his desire to step down as Chief Executive of the company with effect from January 1, 2017 as part of the intended succession plan of the company.
Accordingly, the Board on Thursday passed resolution accepting the resignation of Parvez Ghias as the Chief Executive of IMC from January 1, 2016. The Board also appointed Ali Asghar Abbas Jamali, the candidate identified as his successor as Chief Executive of IMC from January 1, 2016 in place of Parvez Ghias. Jamali who is Chartered Accountant joined IMC 16 years ago and continued working in different areas of the company. He has done multiple international courses from different universities including Harvard University.
