The flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Friday stuck in Kuwait for hours, due to fog and very low visibility. According to details, the flight PK-206, which was scheduled to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore in the wee hours of Friday was not given go-ahead to take off at Kuwait Airport for hours following the foggy weather and very low visibility.
Meanwhile, PIA spokesman said that due to fog and very low visibility in Kuwait on Friday morning, a PIA aircraft remained stuck there for several hours. As a repercussion PK-898 (Lahore to Kuala Lumpur) has been delayed for nine hours and later it took off at 6pm Friday. He said that PIA call center informed the passengers on the numbers provided at the time of reservation and advised the passengers to contact PIA call centre before leaving to the airport.
