The Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) has requested the authorities of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to increase the late date for submission of Income Tax to Dec 31.
The HCCI's Vice President Turab Ali Khwaja said a number of businessmen and traders had either gone to perform Hajj or became engaged in the mourning events of Muharram during last two months. He said that due to such religious obligations many businessmen could not complete the process of filing the Income Tax. The HCCI's Vice President urged the FBR to consider these issues and increase the last date to Dec 31.
