Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited the injured police cadets, here on Sunday. Militants' raid on a police training center killed 61 people on October 24, the deadliest assault on a security installation in Pakistan's history. He was in tears on meeting the wounded cadets. While talking to media, Bilawal recounted how Benazir Bhutto came to Balochistan despite being warned about security risks.
Bilawal said that his family and the people of Balochistan share the same pain. He said that he is not an ordinary politician but a victim of terrorism. "I am not an ordinary politician. I am the son of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. I am a victim of this terrorism." On a reference to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, Bilawal said that it is Khan's habit to become a puppet. "Imran Khan is currently not finding any support and is worried as umpire's finger is not being raised," he said. He also criticised the government and said that whether the people live or die it makes no difference to them.
Bilawal also lambasted the interior minister for holding press conferences against him, Aitzaz Ahsan and Ayyan Ali but remaining silent over the issue of terrorism. He said that Dr Asim has been made a prisoner by the interior ministry whereas a former mayor is a political detainee in Quetta. He reiterated that government cannot move forward without democracy.
The PPP chairman claimed that the government itself his doing propaganda against China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Bilawal pronounced that he will announce his strategy on December 27 and will lead a conduct an early election campaign if his demands are not accepted.
