Special exercise for management of record continued for the third consecutive day even on Sunday in Lahore Development Authority besides cleanliness and maintenance of record rooms in the two block of LDA office complex at Johar Town. Director General LDA supervised this task by personally visiting different parts of the two office buildings on Sunday. He was accompanied by Additional Director General (HQ) Samia Saleem at this occasion.
The Director General urged the relevant officers for taking all possible measures for the safety, security and easy as well as instantaneous availability of property files. He asked for keeping property files of every housing scheme separately, placing them in a sequential order, making detailed inventories and giving access to these files to only designated officials.
The Director General ordered for shifting all cabinets of property files to the central record room from various parts of the office. He directed for installation of security cameras, exhaust fans, cooling system and new electrical wiring in the central record room in addition to carrying out cleanliness and maintenance of the place on regular basis. The routine functioning of the LDA's One Window Cell will resume today (31st of October 2016) and it will receive public applications from 8.00 AM to 01.00 PM.
