Final exams of post-graduate programs of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will begin in Rawalpindi-Islamabad and other parts of the country from Tuesday.
According to the Controller Exams, the Programs include: PGD, MA/MSc, MS/MPhil and Ph.D. Roll Number slips have been dispatched to all the students, enrolled for Semester Spring 2016, at their postal addresses. The same have also been placed at the University's official website.
As per the instructions of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Shahid Siddiqui, exam centers have been set up at the nearest places of the students' residences. All possible efforts have been made to ensure transparency in the entire exam's process, said Controller exams. He further said, the students can also download their roll number slips from the University's website that will be considered valid for appearing in these exams.
All students are also advised to read the instructions mentioned on Roll No. Slip carefully before entering into the Examination Center.
In addition, the students are advised to bring National Identity Card in original issued by the NADRA. Meanwhile, the University has expedited mailing of books and other study material to its around seven lacs enrolled students in various parts of the country for the autumn 2016 semester.
As per he instructions of the VC, employees of the Mailing Department are working in two shifts to ensure timely receipt of the books by the students.
