Central Core committee meeting of United Business Group (UBG) is scheduled to be on November 6 to finales and announce its candidate names for the seats of Senior Vice President and Vice presidents, for forth coming elections of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) 2017.
Addressing a press conference at the Incubation of UBG election office at Gohar Chamber, Senior Vice President of FPCCI Shaikh Khalid Tawab said that in case of more than one nominations, then the election process will be held to nominate the candidate. He said that the group has already nominated Zubair F Tufail as its candidate for the seat of President of FPCCI.
He said that any one intend to contest election on any vacant seat can apply to the central core committee of UBG and it will be considered on merit. Chief of UBG S.M Muneer said that due to personal liking and dislike reputation of FPCCI was tarnished in the past and added that UBG has managed to restored its image in late two years. He said that the group has nominated Zubair F Tufail a well reputed businessman for the seat of President of FPCCI who has experience and capability to highlight business community issues with government and other agencies and get them resolved.
