Inaction against banned sectarian outfits: MWM threatens to launch protest movement
After series of attack on Majalis during the month of Muharram in the metropolis, Majlis-e-Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen (MWM) on Tuesday warned Sindh government of launching a movement if it failed to take stern action against ringleaders of banned terrorist outfit. The warning came at a meeting of MWM Karachi chapter held at party office. Syed Meesam Raza Abidi, Raza Naqvi, Mir Taqi Zafar, Maulana Ali Anwar and Allama Mubashir and others attended the meeting to discuss possible course of action against the targeted killings of Shiites in Karachi.
They alleged that 'inaction' against the banned terrorist outfits and their leaders and continued murders of innocent people in Karachi were interlinked and this interconnected phenomenon was also linked with provincial government because it seemed that facilitators of these terrorists were within the ranks of Sindh Government.
They alleged that there were black sheep within the security agencies as well because without security lapse due to delinquency of the officials, terrorists would not have been able to massacre innocent people in all over Pakistan. They said that Shia Muslims of Pakistan never believed in violence against any sect, person or party but they had fallen victims to terrorists without any reason. They urged that terrorists involved in targeted killings of Shiats must be hanged publicly without any delay.
