Asma Jahangir, Former president of Supreme Court Bar Association, on Tuesday accused Imran Khan of being on 'assignment' of some hidden hands. However, she said, those who gave him the 'assignment' would never let him become prime minister. She was talking to media persons at Lahore High Court.
Asma said accountability of the rulers could not be carried out with the guns. She, however, condemned torture on political workers and asked the government to shun politics of containers. She said Khan was not doing politics but waging war against democracy. She alleged that there was a time when Khan wanted to become prime minister under then military dictator General Pervez Musharraf (retired) and now he claims to fight against 'dynasty.'
