Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here Wednesday said that 200 million people of Pakistan have achieved victory. He said there had been no justification of protest after the case regarding Panama Leaks became sub judicial. He said people of Pakistan want progress and prosperity of country and resolution of their problems. PML-N leadership is fully capable to bring the country out of problems, he added.
Shahbaz Sharif said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, national economy has been set on strong foundations. Economic development is indispensable for achieving a respectable place in the comity of nations, he added. The Chief Minister said that economy has improved due to solid economic policies of PML-N government and international institutions are also acknowledging improvement of national economy.
He said reaching of foreign exchange resources at record level is fruit of best economic policies of the government. Talking to a delegation of Muslim League-N, the Chief Minister said that darkness will be removed from the country with the completion of ongoing power projects at cost of billions of rupees. He said elimination of energy crisis will result in development of agriculture, industry and other social sectors. He stated that under leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, goal of progress and prosperity of the people will certainly be achieved. He said country is making rapid progress and Pakistan's economy is being included in emerging economies of the world. Speedy work is being carried out on development projects of billions of rupees throughout the country and China has proved to be a great friend by giving economic corridor package of $46 billion, he added. He said CPEC will leave a positive impact on not only the development of Pakistan but the entire region, unemployment will be eliminated, energy crisis will be overcome and the country will move ahead speedily.
Shahbaz Sharif said that sit-in politics caused a huge loss to national economy in 2014. He said decisions are not taken on roads but the parliament and constitutional institutions in democracy. He said people of Pakistan are conscious and know who is serving them. He said negative politics is poisonous and tantamount to ruining the country at a time when it is making speedy progress and darkness is going to be removed from it. He said current situation demanded that everybody should work jointly for the progress of the country.
Punjab Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has already expressed confidence over the hearing of the case in Supreme Court. He said Muslim League-N has always respected the decisions of the judiciary. He said present situation demanded forgetting of differences and resolving the problems amicably.
