Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Punjab Muhammad Rafique Rajwana held a meeting, here Wednesday, during which ongoing development projects for the welfare of the masses were discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that all out provincial resources are being utilised for the progress and uplift of the people and special attention is being paid to development of backward and remote areas, he added. He said high standard and transparency in the implementation of projects are the hallmark of Punjab government and a splendid example has been set by saving billions of rupees in development projects. He said public service is the pivot of politics of Pakistan Muslim League-N government and every effort is being made under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in this regard. He said welfare projects including power projects are being completed expeditiously throughout the country. He said destiny of the nation is going to change during next eighteen months as energy crisis will come to an end and there will an era of progress and prosperity, he pointed. He said that every effort of government is directed towards progress and development of the province and all out energies are being utilized for achieving development targets.
