Naqi further said that industrial areas of Karachi produced more than half of the export goods, so in any development program infrastructural issues of these areas should be considered on priority basis.
Naqi said the doing business was becoming more viable in the country but many millstones were to be reached.
Patron-in-Chief KATI S. M. Muneer said that Federal Government was also working on reforming business laws and economic policies. "It is hoped that after these efforts foreign investments and industrialisation in the country will boost up, and exports will increase," he added.
Muneer appreciated the effort of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to end energy crisis especially the measures he has taken to speed up the work on CEPEC.
