Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik has said November 6, 1947 was the blackest day in human history when lakhs of Muslims were massacred in Jammu.
Yasin Malik, in a statement in occupied Srinagar, said, "November 6, 1947, represents the blackest day of human history when lakhs of Muslims in Jammu were driven out of their homes and butchered by communal fascist forces patronized by rulers of that time."
According to KMS, he said the Jammu massacre 1947 reminded the brutal and criminal face of fascism and the criminal silence of international community on such massacre exposed its duplicity and double standards. "When all this was happening in Jammu, Kashmiri Muslims stood for communal harmony as taught by their great religion Islam, and despite provocations safeguarded their non-Muslim brethren living in Kashmir," he added.
He paid tributes to the Jammu martyrs on their martyrdom anniversary, saying their sacrifices would bring positive results as the people of Kashmir would continue their fight for their rights.
