Directorate of Health Service Fata, has organised a free medical camp in Frontier Region (FR) Dera Ismail Khan under the mobile hospital programme. According to statement, issued here on Saturday, the directorate of Health Services, under mobile hospital program, aiming at to provide free-medical and healthcare facilities to inaccessible and deserving population of FATA at their doorsteps. To continue its efforts three days camps in FR Dera Ismail Khan have been conducted under this program last week.
The aim of these camps was to provide quality services to the poor people of FATA at their doorsteps. The camps were conducted in peripheral areas of FR DI Khan including Kohi Bahar, Kohi Pewar, Malak Umar Korona etc. A total number of 3446 patients aye patients 525 and different X-rays 115 were not only provided free consultation and medicine but different diagnostic facilities were also provided to the patients including hepatitis screening, blood and urine tests and gynae check-up 212 patients plus family planning counselling.
