Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Dr Haidar Ashraf has decided for launching a massive crackdown against the drug peddlers, gamblers and others criminals in the wake of increasing crime rate in the city. He expressed theses views while presiding over a meeting at city's SP office here on Saturday and expressed his displeasure over the increasing crime rate in the provincial metropolis and directed all city division personnel to check it or be ready to go homes.
He directed all the DSPs and SHOs to start massive crackdown against criminal elements including the drug peddlers, brothel houses, pubs, gamblers and other related elements.
