Army chief Raheel Sharif has vowed to continue to respond effectively to the Indian unprovoked firing and maintained that no stone will be left unturned to defend motherland. He said this while attending a briefing in Jhelum on Monday. Raheel Sharif offered Nimaz-e-Janaza of soldiers martyred in Indian firing at LoC's Bhimber Sector. DG Military Intelligence and Corps Commander were also present on the occasion.
The Army Chief also attended funeral prayer of the soldiers in Jhelum, who embraced martyrdom in Indian cross border firing at Line of Control. General Raheel Sharif paid rich tributes to the valour and sacrifice of the brave soldiers. Seven soldiers embraced martyrdom as Indian forces yet again resorted to cross-fire LoC violation late Sunday night.
