Attack on media houses, anti-Pakistan slogans: ATC resents authorities for not arresting Dr Farooq

Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) resented authorities for not arresting Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan's (MQM) chief, Dr Farooq Sattar, in a case, over the attack on media houses and anti-Pakistan slogans. The court stated that Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Rao Anwar would be ordered to present Dr Sattar before court if the authorities failed to arrest him.
While addressing the investigation officer, the court stated that MQM-Pakistan's chief was delivering speeches and making public appearances while the personnel were maintaining that they could not find him. However, the court rejected bail pleas of three suspects, Amir, Mohsin and Fareed and adjourned the hearing until November 30. Hearing of Kanwar Naveed's bail plea was adjourned until November 28. Farooq Sattar, among others, was fighting a legal case in ATC over storming of offices of two private media houses in Karachi on August 22, following the speech of founder of the party that allegedly incited activists.
