The Lahore Transport Company (LTC) inaugurated new air conditioned CNG bus service with collaboration of private transport operator Awais Travels from Thokar Niaz Baig to General Bus Stand Raiwand on Monday. The new bus service was inaugurated by Chairman Lahore Transport Company Mehr Ishtiaq and Member National Assembly Afzal Khokhar.
Initially, 13 buses will ply on the road while their number will gradually increase after observing the occupancy ratio on the route. The minimum fare of this bus service shall be 20 rupees and maximum fare of the last stage will be 45 rupees. This urban route has 21 stops commencing from Thokar Niaz Baig via Lahore University, Al Raza Abad, LDA Avenue-I, Bhobattian Chowk, Adda Plot, Amin Pura, Ali Chowk, Markaz till GBS Raiwand.
