Construction sector: Chinese master trainers to train Tevta teachers, students
Three master trainers will reach Pakistan next month to train Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) teachers and students in construction sector. In this regard, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between TEVTA and Qingdao Construction Engineering Vocational School China here on Tuesday at TEVTA Secretariat.
Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh and Principal Qingdao Construction Engineering Vocational School China Yu Xiang signed the MoU. Delegation of China Institute including Executive Director Xu Fengshan and members Baozhi Chen, Wang Haigang, Ahmed Ma, Fergshan Xu, Panboliang, Kiloie, Chief Operating Officer Jawad Ahmed Qureshi, Aamer Aziz, Akhtar Abbas Bharwana, Umer Farooq, Azhar Iqbal Shad, Mustafa Kamal Pasha, Maqsood Ahmed, Rao Rashid, Uzma Nadia, Umber Chattha and other officers were also present on the occasion.
While sharing the details of the MOU Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that Master Trainers will train in the field of Quantity Surveyor, Steel Fixer and Carpenter. In first phase, Master Trainers are being invited in construction sector and after that service of Chinese experts will be extended in electrical, electronics, mechanical and other sectors so that our youth may get demand driven vocational training. This initiative will promote technical education and vocational training especially in construction sector across the province of the Punjab.
