Vice President of Faisalabad Chamber of commerce and Industry (FCCI), Engineer Ahmed Hasan while distributing cheques of monthly scholarship under Prime Minister Skill Development Programme among 42 students of Laboratory Technical College, University of Agriculture Faisalabad at FCCI on Wednesday has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will offer unlimited job opportunities for our youth in different fields.
"We must equip them with necessary skills and it will not only resolve the most complicated issue of unemployment but also pave way for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan," he added. He told that under Prime Minister Skill Development Programme, Matric, Inter and BCom students are getting practical training in the fields of IT and book keeping. "The duration of this programme is six month during which they will also get a monthly emolument of Rs 3000 along with the training," he mentioned.
He also expressed satisfaction over Prime Minister Skill Development Programme and told that data of passed out students is being compiled so that jobs could also be arranged for them. He asked the students to immediately provide their CVs for their early placement.
Director Laboratory Technical College, Habib-ur-Rehman and Principal Shahid Pervaiz Chaudhary were also present during this function. Later, Engineer Ahmed Hasan distributed cheques among the students.
