Brigadier Nadir Hussain, Deputy Director General, Sindh Rangers visited SITE Association of Industry along with Sector Commander of Sachal Rangers and Wing Commander of 32 Wing, Sachal Rangers where they were welcomed by Asad Nisar Barkhurdaria, President, SITE
Association of Industry, along with Office Bearers, M Jawed Bilwani, Former President and the Members of Executive Committee of the Association. DDG Rangers Sindh endorsed the fear and frustration of Industrialists is not out of place, looking at prevalent Circumstances. He said he feels an overall deterioration in terms of ethics, morals in Civil Society and every department of Civil Society needs drastic improvement, He termed Law & Order Situation of Karachi, as a result of long term neglect by successive governments, now this a deep routed and cure is not possible over night, it would require time, deliberation, proper planning, with all the Sincerity, He said task is difficult, but certainly not impossible.
He said I have come here to deliver, as when I accepted to come, I mean business; he said Rangers will do everything possible to convert this area into a peaceful place. He said on one question of member. All the Exit/Entry controls would be manned and surveillance system, which SITE Association is in process of installing, would be utilized to its best possible manner. He also promised to place one Officer of Rangers in the Control Room of SITE Association
He also emphasized on building Infrastructure specially Roads, so that Traffic can play smoothly, He accepted, street crimes are result of dilapidated Roads, where Traffic moves very slowly.
He pointed out that the law and order situation in the city was deteriorating for years and extortion cases were on the rise. The Rangers DDG also said the crackdown against criminals in Karachi would continue until its logical conclusion. He said the atmosphere of fear in Karachi was diminishing and would reduce further in the days to come. The Rangers DDG said the situation in Karachi had now changed compared with what it was around two years ago.
On the issue of traffic jam during rush hours resulting increase in Street crime and snatching, he ordered to Wing Commander to increase patrolling at evening hours at Afza flyover, Shershah, Pak Colony and Banaras. Earlier M Jawed Bilwani, Former President, SITE, Asad Nisar Barkhurdaria, President, SITE Association of Industry, Suleman Chawla, Senior Vice President, M Arif Lakhani, Naveed Wahid, Co-Chairman, Law & Order Sub-Committee and Junaid M Siddiq, Former Vice Chairman spoke at length complaining deteriorating law & order situation.-PR
