Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has asked law enforcement agencies to commence crackdown against criminals in the province. Addressing a meeting here on Sunday, he stated that eradicating crime and taking care of property and lives of citizens was a prime duty of the police.
He emphasised that to ensure the target action by police should be initiated without discrimination.
Shehbaz Sharif stated that in order to improve law & order in the province, police has to gear up its efforts. Punjab Chief Minister said that he would personally take note of police efforts in curbing crime in the province.
The Lahore CCPO informed Punjab Chief Minister about Millat Park dacoity and murder case along with Garden Town Traffic Signal crime on the occasion. The Punjab Police officer told chief minister that persons involved in both crimes would be apprehended soon.
