Directorate of Fata Health Services has organized a free medical camp for Internally Displaced people (IDPs) at Orakzai tribal agency.
According to statement issued here on Sunday stated that mobile Hospital & Eye Care Program FATA have been deputed doctors, paramedics staff and supporting staff along with Mobile Health Units to IDPs camps (Muhammad Khwaja Camp Hangu, Raeesan, Daboori,Daboori Baghnak, Daboori Baglan, ) at Orakzai Agency for free medical camps. The staff has been providing services under the supervision of Agency Surgeon Orakzai Agency. The camps were continued since July 2016 under the effective supervision of Director Health Services FATA.
Facilities provided during these camps were provision of free medicines for seasonal and general diseases, correction of refractive errors, provision of eye medication and reading glasses, gynecological/obstetrical facility, family planning counselling, screening of patients for hepatitis B and C, other diagnostic facilities e.g. X-Rays and general blood and Urine tests along with identification of children with malnutrition.
