Patron in chief, United Business Group (UBG), S M Muneer on Sunday said, "Since came to power within two years, the UBG not only scissors financial corruption but continued to contribute significantly in increasing the prestige of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI)."
"Alike the Presidents Mian Idrees and Abdul Rauf Alam, nominated candidate for the president of FPCCI by UBG, Zubair Tufail will keep the score of the federation on high grounds for the wider interest of business community," Muneer said.
Addressing the reception by Farhan Hanif, President All Pakistan Motorcycle Spare Part Importer Dealers Association and the Chairman, Crown group, Patron in Chief UBG, Muneer said, "The flagship of UBG is getting stronger with continued efforts of dynamic companions and young blood like Farhan Hanif and others."
Candidate of the UBG for the president, Zubair Tufail, Amir Atta Bajwa for the SVC, Ongoing SVC Sheikh Khalid Tawab, Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, spokesperson UBG Gulzar Feroz, Abdus Sami Khan, Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Farida Qureshi, Saeeda Bano and Farhan Hanif also addressed the reception while Manzoor Malik, Ishtiaq Baig, Irfan Sarwana, Ata ur Rehman, Naqi Bari, Akbar Abdullah, Dawood Usman Jakhora, Atam Parkash, Shakil Dhingrha, Nadeem Siddiqui, Kashif Qaseem, Shahzad Mubeen and others were present at large.

Paying homage to the dedicated chairman UBG, Iftikhar Ali Malik, S M Muneer vowed, "Punjab is a stronghold of UBG in the elections of the FPCCI. Not only textile sector, the Government should announce package for all the industries," he said.
Speaking to the reception, nominated candidate for the president, Zubair Tufail said, "The UBG's leadership has been struggled over the past two years to improve the economic situation of the country and keeping the best interests of business community, positive suggestions were given to the government by the leaders of United Business Group."
"Our focus in China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), likewise the Chinese companies, government should announce the tax exemptions to the Pakistani companies and the investors and for the same duration," Zubair added.
Adding to the node of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Zubair Tufail said, "Hopefully the textile package would be announced on 15 December during the export trophy award ceremony of FPCCI."
Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan said, "The UBG undisputedly marginalised the opponents with untiring efforts for business communities at large. 2017 would be a critical year, we need to keep a close eye on the impact after UK loop itself out from the European Union," he added.
Candidate for the Senior Vice President, Amir Atta Bajwa said his name was nominated by the leadership without the influence.
Senior Vice President FPCCI, Sheikh Khalid Tawab said, "Those who left UBG recently, will regret on their decision after 30 December."
Spokesperson UBG Gulzar Feroz said, "The tsunami United Business Group will wash away the candidates of opposing group."
"Under the leadership of Iftikhar Ali Malik and S M Muneer, the UBG will acquire historical success in FPCCI election," Gulzar said.
