Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Qamar Bajwa on Monday separately called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain. The CoAS called on the prime minister at PM House and met with president at Presidency House. During the meeting, they discussed situation on the Line of Control (LoC), operation Zarb-e-Azb and other issues pertaining to national security.
On the occasion, the President stated that work on National Action Plan (NAP) and operation Zarb-e-Azb should continue until the desired results are achieved. General Bajwa assured that he would fulfil public expectations. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said the government would extend the required resources to meet the demands of the armed forces.
