On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,039. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 6.65 billion and the number of lots traded was 16,408. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.45 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 2.36 billion, crude oil amounting PKR 1.73 billion, silver PKR 92.79 million and copper PKR 14.61 million.
