The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) is hosting it's first-ever 'International Research Symposium (IRS) on December 13, 2016 at Lahore which is expected to be graced by the President of Pakistan as Chief Guest.
The speakers and panelists of the IRS include renowned personalities from the academia, including Vice Chancellors, economists, researchers, scholars, deans and directors of management sciences and business and commerce departments of HEC-accredited universities. Delegates from Sri Lanka will also be attending the Symposium as Speakers.
The theme of Symposium is "Emerging Trends in Business Innovations Leading to Development of Economies - Challenges and Opportunities for Management Accountants, Business Entrepreneurs and Corporate Executives." The various sub-themes on which speakers will make presentations include cost management and control, lean enterprises and production, resource consumption accounting, business process re-engineering, environmental management accounting, total quality management, economics of resource optimization, business intelligence and analytics, management accountants and cloud computing, social responsibility of management accountants and role of management accountants in economic value addition.-PR
