Oman Air has been awarded World's Leading Airline Economy Class, at the World Travel Awards, for the third consecutive year. The airline competed with 17 other carriers including some of the best-known names in aviation field. The carrier had already won three World Travel Awards in 2016 alone, with the 'Middle East's Leading Airline, Business Class' and 'Middle East's Leading Airline, Economy Class' already being awarded in October at the World Travel Awards Middle East 2016.
The World Travel Awards were presented at a gala dinner held at Olhuveli Beach & Spa Resort, South Malé Atoll, Republic of Maldives. CEO of Oman Air Paul Gregorowitsch said:
