A three-day anti-polio vaccination campaign will begin in Punjab from Monday. Eighteen point four million children below the age of five years would be administered polio drop. Forty-four thousand six hundred and fifty-four teams have been constituted to achieve the target.
Meanwhile, three day anti-polio campaign will also start in Balochistan and district Gilgit from Monday. All necessary arrangements have been finalized.
During the campaign, nearly two point five million children below five year of age in Balochistan while more than forty thousand children in Gilgit would be administered anti polio drops. Strict measures have been taken for security of the polio vaccination teams.
