Chairman, Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, on Sunday announced that PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari would reach Karachi on December 23, 2016. Addressing a press conference in Karachi, the PPP Chairman said that doctors have allowed Zardari to return to the country.
He criticised the government for not accepting the four points put forth by PPP. He added that democracy can't flourish in the country until the Panama Inquiry Bill was not enacted.
He added that the Prime Minister had been exposed in Panama leaks. He added that PPP wanted democratic accountability in the country.
He claimed that PPP was the real opposition against the incumbent government.
Bilawal said that Dr Asim Hussain was being politically victimised.
Bilawal said that the return of Asif Ali Zardari would facilitate implementation on the four points of the PPP.
Earlier, Bilawal hit back at those criticising him for being too young, Bilawal said: "Yes I am a kid. The kid of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. Be scared of me."
The PPP leader asked the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz to not make the mistake of taking him lightly.
Bilawal also tweeted a picture of his parent's wedding with the caption, "My parents should be celebrating their 29th wedding anniversary. Terrorists and their facilitators robbed us of this but we won't back down."
Benazir Bhutto, the twice-serving prime minister, was assassinated on December 27, 2007 as she left a political rally in Rawalpindi. Benazir was shot as she stood in the open sunroof of a car and waved to crowds. Seconds later a suicide attacker detonated his bomb, damaging one of the cars in her motorcade, killing more than 20 people.
