JUI-F has decided to observe country-wide protest against inhuman brutalities in Myanmar and Aleppo on next Friday. The decision was taken during a meeting of the consultative committee for Centennial Celebrations held here chaired by JUI-F chief, Maulana Fazalur Rehman in the Provincial Secretariat on Sunday.
Those who attended were included Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidery, Maulana Mohammad Amjad Khan, Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan, Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman, Maulana Arshad Mahmood Soomro, Mohammad Aslam Ghauri, Haji Shams-ur-Rehman Shamsi, Maulana Shuja-ul-Mulk, Malik Sikandar Khan, Mufti Azhar Asaadi, Abdul Jalil Jan, Maulana Rahat Hussain, Maulana Rafiullah, Abdurehman, Maulana Ameer Zaman, Maulana Zakriya Shah, Mufti Zahid, Qari Ibrahim and others.
Addressing the meeting, Maulana Fazalur Rehman condemned brutalities in Myanmar (Burma) and Aleppo of Syria as worst chapter of the history of cruelties and said that Muslim states should fulfil their responsibility in the stoppage of these cruelties. He said that the champions of human rights had also become silent spectators.
He said that the reign of terror is continued against Muslims across the world, but unfortunately the Islamic world is silent, which is distressed. In Burma, he said a reign terror has been unleashed on Muslims and stressed need for the awakening of the Islamic Ummah and instead of taking their decisions by others, should take it themselves will resolve their maximum problems.
According to decision taken in the meeting, JUI-F will stage countrywide protest demonstrations on coming Friday against brutalities in Burma and Aleppo. The meeting also appealed Ulema and prayers leaders to pass condemnation resolutions against these brutalities and inform people about it.
The meeting termed the silence of international organisations on brutalities in Burma and Aleppo as sorrowful and highly condemnable.
