Bilawa Bhutto Zardari was elected as Chairman Pakistan People's Party (PPP) while his father Asif Ali Zardari as President Pakistan People's Party-Parliamentarians (PPP-P) in secretly held intra-party elections held here on the Sunday.
According to a PPP spokesman, the intra-party elections of PPP and PPP-P were held here at Bilawal House under the supervision of Senator Farooq H. Naek, Senator Taj Haider and Senator Sardar Ali.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was elected as Chairman PPP while Nayyar Hussain Bokhari as Secretary General of the party. Haider Zaman Qureshi was elected as Secretary Finance and Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed as Secretary Information of PPP.
In PPP-P's elections, Asif Ali Zardari was elected as President, Farhatullah Baber as Secretary General while Senator Saleem Mandviwalla was elected as Finance Secretary.
All the office-bearers of both the parties were elected for a four-year's term.
